We are grateful<br>to the administration for the adequate staffing in both<br>languages. Thee department proudly notes that teamwork<br>produces a strong positive deviation in the performance of the<br>KCSE. It is worth noting that Kiswahili managed a mean of<br>10.1 which placed them among the best performers in the<br>country in KCSE 2023. \u001fis year&#8217;s target for English is 8.0+<br>while Kiswahili is 10.4. We also challenge the girls to participate<br>in the Debates and Mjadala. We have a language policy<br>in which English is spoken between Monday and \u001fursday<br>while Kiswahili is spoken between Friday and Sunday. We<br>also have library sessions for the form ones so the girls can<br>catch up with the current affairs by reading newspapers and<br>taifa leo. \u001fe sessions also help them build a good foundation<br>for their vocabulary and word bank.
